They organize owners of 575 different exotic and American muscle cars, including over 100 Ferraris. Don’t be surprised if you see a vintage Ferrari Spyder next to a classic 1955 Corvette V8. Or a Porsche 356 lined up across from a ’68 Mercury Cougar GT-E. Whether you love international or domestic cars, there is something here to excite everyone’s tastes.

Auctions and Raffles

Three items will be offered up for auction at Naples Cars on Fifth 2020. The first offers up to four hours of travel on the Honda Jet Elite, a private luxury airplane. The second item up for bid is a signed copy of Leroy Neiman’s “24 Hours at LeMans” serigraph. Finally, for the more adventurous of the group, place your bid on a half-hour sunset helicopter tour of Naples for up to six passengers. To view each item and place your own bid, visit the Cars on Fifth website here.

Admission Costs

General admission costs $20 per person for anyone aged 13 or above. Kids under 13 get in for free. For an elevated experience, purchase a VIP wristband for $50 each. This grants the wearer access to the VIP area, where they showcase the most expensive and exotic cars at the event. Plus, receive two drink tickets (choice of beer or wine), catered food, and private restroom facilities. It also allows you access to all other areas of the event for the day. Purchase your wristbands early by visiting the Cars on Fifth website here.

St. Matthew’s House

One hundred percent of the money raised at each Cars on Fifth event benefits St. Matthew’s House. In the last two years alone, over $250,000 was given to St. Matthew’s House. They provide housing (up to 400 people) and food (up to 600 people) for the homeless population in the Naples area every single day. They also operate a food pantry, recovery program, and operate the Immokalee Friendship House. They’ve been serving Naples and the surrounding area for more than 30 years.

Naples Boat Show 2020

Less than two weeks ago, we welcomed in the new year with an early evening fireworks show at Naples Pier. One hundred and forty days separate us until summer (June 1st). But, even though the calendar puts us in the dead of winter, we still experience highs solidly in the 80s right now. So it should come as no surprise that the Naples Boat Show 2020 takes place this upcoming weekend.

MIACC hosts Naples Boat Show 2020 at the Municipal Airport this weekend (Jan 16th to 19th). The biggest boat show of its kind in the area, it features huge deals on Cabin Cruisers, pontoons, fishing boats, safety gear, fishing gear, and much, much more.

What: Naples Boat Show 2020
Where: Naples Airport (526 Terminal Dr)
When: January 16th to 19th, 10 am to 5 pm
Admission: $12 per person, kids ages 12 & under/FREE

Naples Boat Show 2020

Search homes for sale in the Naples/Marco Island areaA boat show on land? Sounds a little odd, right? Not so. Marine Industries Association of Collier County (MIACC) hosts the biggest recreational watersports show in the area this weekend. And it takes place at the Municipal Airport. However, they do provide a free shuttle to the Naples City Dock. So, test drives before you buy aren’t completely out of the question.

MIACC puts on free fishing seminars each day. Brush up on your skills before you head down to the marina. Visit the nautical market and auction for great deals on center consoles, Cabin Cruisers, fishing boats, and more. Visit the marina to see mega-yachts and “regular” yachts in their element. Make sure to outfit your boat with enough properly-sized life vests to fit anyone onboard. Upgrade to the latest and greatest in today’s safety gear. Let the kids roam free in the Kids Club. And when you get hungry from visiting all the vendors, visit one of the food trucks to fuel up.

Boat Show Ticket Info

Tickets cost $12 per person for a one-day general admission ticket. All kids ages 12 and under get in absolutely free of charge with a paying adult. To reserve your tickets, visit the Naples Boat Show box office website here.

Naples Christmas Parades 2019

Southwest Florida isn’t known for its wintery landscapes. But we do enjoy celebrating the holidays just like everyone else. Since we live right on the water, it makes sense that we celebrate two Naples Christmas Parades: one by land and one by sea.

Not content with just one parade, the City offers up two Naples Christmas Parades this week: one by land and one by sea.

Beginning at 6 pm, watch floats, marching bands, local organizations, fire trucks, and more strut their stuff along the parade route. They start off on South Broad St. Then, they turn east onto 3rd St. Finally, they turn north onto 5th Ave S. Stop by early to find a good spot along the parade route.

You might even want to plan dinner a little early at one of the 5th Ave S restaurants. Maybe one of the ones participating in Winter Sizzle SWFL Restaurant Week. After the parade, stop by one of the 5th Ave S shops to do some Christmas shopping. Plus, you definitely need to talk to Santa and Mrs. Claus before the night ends! Of course, you also should stop and see the huge Christmas tree on display, too.

Naples Thanksgiving 5K 2019 at Cambier Park

Thanksgiving is just nine days away. That’s right. The most gluttonous day of the year happens in just about a week and a half! But fight the battle of the bulge. Start your day off with a lovely three(ish) mile walk through downtown Naples starting at Cambier Park. Sign up for the Naples Thanksgiving 5K 2019.

Before you start cooking, start walking. Join the Naples Thanksgiving 5K 2019 at Cambier Park for a quick stroll and some pumpkin pie. Share your blessings. Bring canned goods and/or clothing for St Matthew's House, too.

What: Naples Thanksgiving 5K 2019
Where: Cambier Park (8th St South)
When: Thursday, November 28th, 7:30 am start time
Cost: $30 per person

Naples Thanksgiving 5K 2019

Search homes for sale in the Naples/Marco Island areaBefore you start cooking, start walking. Gather friends and family together for a lovely walk or run around downtown Naples. Coordinators invite everyone of all ages to join. At 8:30 am, kids between the ages of 5 and 12 can participate in a 1K fun run (approximately 0.6 miles). For the even younger tykes (ages 5 and under), let them run free in the 100-yard dash at 8:45 am. After the 5K, enjoy a tasty dessert of pumpkin pie.

Registration for the Thanksgiving 5K

Pre-register before 10:59 pm on Wednesday, November 27th. Pay $30 per person and receive a long-sleeve commemorative shirt (5K participants only). Procrastinators can still register on the day of the event. However, that line stays open from 6 am to 7:20 am on the 28th only. Last-minute scrambles aren’t the most fun. So, I suggest registering online ahead of time. Then, you just need to pick up your packet on the 26th or 27th. It costs nothing for your little ones to participate in the 1K or 100-yard dash. However, you still need to register them online ahead of time.

St Matthew’s House

At the 5K, volunteers pledged to collect canned food and new or gently used clothing items for St Matthew’s House. So, please bring what you can with you to Cambier Park on November 28th or when you pick up your packet ahead of time. Additionally, Moe’s Southwest Grill pledged one pound of beans and rice for every registered participant.
